Jillicious Foods & Events is a full service, boutique catering company located in Brooklyn, New York. We provide highly trained staff, rentals, event design, and full event planning services for your social events, corporate events, celebrations, and of course weddings. For us, each new client is a unique opportunity to tell a new and delicious story.
Our executive chef, Jill Freiberg, brings more than thirty years of experience in catering to her latest venture, Jillicious Foods & Events. Chef Jill attended New York Restaurant School before working with some of the more notable names in New York City catering including Abigail Kirsch and Glorious Foods. She fell in love with the excitement of catering with its constantly changing menus, different locations, and the joy of working with new clients. After becoming involved in the local food movement, Chef Jill moved to the Hudson Valley where she continued learning from great chefs such as Chef Rick Orlando of New World Home Cooking and developing her style of food. Returning to New York City, she brings a passion for local, seasonal ingredients and the bounty of the Hudson Valley. Since launching Jillicious Foods & Events, she’s built a steady following by catering events from weddings to cocktail parties to casual barbeques to formal wine dinners both in New York City and the Hudson Valley.
Chef Jill works with a variety of cuisines from New American to Cajun to Southeast Asian. We also specialize in creating menus that give everyone an option. Food allergies and dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, or pescetarian are not a barrier to delicious food. What inspires Chef Jill are beautiful ingredients. We are proud to partner with amazing farms and local purveyors throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City where Chef Jill handpicks ingredients for each event. While we are happy to show our clients sample menus, we rarely use the same menu twice. Instead, we sit down and talk with each client to uncover what you love about food. We then create a menu and an event that tells your personal food story.
